Biography:

My name is Addison Wong, a composer, jazz ensemble and choir director. I hold a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Oregon and have taught extensively at the University of Macau and Bushnell University (USA), where I led jazz fusion bands, choirs, and taught composition, arranging, and theory.

Active in composing jazz fusion big band and chamber works for Macau Jazz Promotion Association and scoring for local television series, I direct Ocean Walker, a soul/gospel choir that actively performs in music award ceremonies and festivals. Directed the instrumental ensemble at Bushnell as well as a guest conductor for the Macau Jazz Orchestra for the 2021-2024 seasons.

I serve as the music director and keyboardist for Magnificent, a Christian worship band under Macau Christian Musician Fellowship, which tours and leads worship services, organizes workshops in churches, and produces original faith-based songs.

My experience in musicals including vocal coaching 2023/2025 The China National Arts Fund large-scale on-tour musical <星辰大海·冼星海> and music directing the Macau Cultural Bureau sponsored musical (2023).
