Biography:

Mesmerized by the sound of the orchestra as a child, Madeleine Davis has pursued her love of music from a young age. Madeleine is a graduate of the University of British Columbia where she studied horn with Dr. Valerie Whitney. Her time at UBC allowed her to discover new passions including a love for performing solo recitals. She is a freelancer in the Vancouver area and performs frequently with the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, and Kamloops Symphony Orchestra. Madeleine is passionate about equity in brass playing and helped co-run the UBC Women’s Brass Ensemble, which aimed to promote women brass players. Madeleine loves sharing music with others and always plays from the heart with conviction.
